A Sick Day?

This is what my house looks like after just one day of being sick.
That is right...I came down with the stomach flu early Sunday morning.
And I am telling you surgery and the flu do not mix well.
And today, although I am feeling better I am just going to look at the mess.
No cleaning today.
I am just going to look at the mixed puzzles and games, and maybe, just maybe I will feel like cleaning them up tomorrow.

Summer's Top Ten List

Here is our top ten list (in no particular order) for summer:
1. Almost every Thursday throughout the summer, we met up with a lot of my cousins at different parks. Sometimes far like the Gateway and sometimes right in our own back yard. It was quite nice that sometimes I just had Wyatt and sometimes I had all three. (That darn year round school throws our summers off a bit.)

2. It was quite monumental that we made it on a drive to California and back without much to speak of. I think we have hit a growing up point. The biggest problem we had was pulling over quickly to go to the bathroom.

(We were this close to the wild animals.)
3. A lot of time spent with these two. I would like to think we take care of Grandma Great, but I think she takes care of us too.
4. The past three weeks I have spent a lot of time doing this (below). That darn tumor from two years ago came back to haunt me. Luckily, I am feeling good and like I want to be back to my normal self. In fact, today was my first day without a babysitter helping me out, and it felt good. Although, I have to say it has been so nice of everyone helping me out. You will all never know what that means to me and especially Tad!!

5. For my birthday tad got me tickets to My fav concert!! Log and Deb came too. It was so good...too short. I love Josh Turner even more than I did before!

6. We spent countless days at Lagoon! My mom gave us season tickets for Christmas last year. I never dared take my camera for fear of losing it. All three of my kids loved every second! They are all so brave! In fact, there were many times Wyatt was in tears throwing quite a fit because he was not tall enough to ride the big rides!

7. Boondocks! So fun! Thanks Grandma Connie! It was so fun for everyone, even me who just watched! They have been talking about it ever since.

8. Attempted family pictures. The kids look great...I on the other hand had the flu and thought that I could fake it. I don't think it worked. Needless to say, they are not on the wall.

9. Spent a weekend in Bear Lake with the Lloyd's. So fun and relaxing.

10. And last but definitely not least, this boy below is potty trained. He decided the week before California was a good time, witch left me a wreck, but he proved to be such a big kid. And after seven and half years of buying diapers we are now done forever! Yahoooo!
