Our Summer is Never Going to End!!

Everytime we take our kids to the library to check out books (which is quite often), Kamden comes out of there with encyclopedias about dinosaurs. Now, story books about dinosaurs would be fine, but no, these are just informational. He knows right where they are located at our library and he doesn't even go to the kids books anymore. So when we get home, Tad and I secretly race and volunteer to read Cori's books. We thought this week was Kamden's last week before school started, but now school has been postponed for another two weeks. So we'll just keep playing. Needless to say, this is one of Kamden's favorite placed to come.
Kamden always proudly announces that when he grows up he wants to be a Paleontologist.
Because Kamden has made himself an expert on dinosaurs, he knows which ones are meat eaters and which are plant eaters. He was not about to stand by any that are meat eaters. Here is Grandma Pam and Cori, they don't know this guy is a meat-eater.
Cori is so sweet and tries to love what Kamden loves.

We miss McCall!!!

Dear McCall,
We are so sad that you moved! We will miss seeing you all the time, but we will look forward to when you come home to visit us. You are the best babysitter ever, and the best nurse ever too. We hope that Cori grows up to be even half as sweet as nice and as pretty as you. If she does, we know we succeeded in raising her. You will do so good at college. You are so smart and "you can do hard things." Have the time of your life because it goes by fast, play hard, but study hard too. Find cute boys, but be good to your girlfriends. We love you more than you know.
Hugs and kisses,
Liza, Kamden, Cori, and Wyatt

The Best Vacation Ever!!!

Okay, so I am doing this out of sequence. This is our last day in Cali. Here we are at the beach. This was everyone's (except for myself) first time on the California coast.

I didn't take anyone's swimsuit because my kids are quite afraid of the water. After about two minutes, the kids were soaked from head to toe. I guess they just love ocean water and not pool or bath water.

Wyatt wanted to eat the sand. He couldn't understand why sand was stuck all over his wet body.
We made it to Disneyland!!! Here is McCall, Jamie, Oliver, Kamden, and Riley with their 3-D glasses on.
Wyatt like to put the glasses on. Isn't he hilarious?!
Cori's favorite princess is Ariel. We stood in line for awhile, but it was worth meeting a real princess.
Kamden's favorite is Lightening McQueen. This is the Pixar parade. (Sorry McCall about including your bum in the picture.)
Cori and Riley got to talk to more princesses. This was the best part of the trip for Cori.

Before we got to Disneyland, the kids had no idea what Disneyland even was! They thought Lagoon was fun- no comparison. Here is the happy bunch in Mickey's house with the Big Cheese himself.
All three kids were so good. I think they were in awe of all the activity going on around them. Kamden and Cori were so brave. There wasn't a ride they didn't dare go on. That was quite a shock. I wouldn't say they are the most daring kids in the world.

Here is Kamden and Cori locked on the Dumbo train. Aren't they so dang cute?

This is the end of our first day there. We're still looking happy and ready for more.

This really describes them to a "T" Our Goofy and our sweet princess.

We went to Disneyland with my sister Jamie, her family, my mom and dad, and Kade and McCall.

Here is all six of the kids in front of Pooh's honeypots. We had such a fun time and we can't wait to go back!!
